While the FTC has yet (as 23 September 2024) released an official policy on disclosing AI-generated content, we have created our own value-based policies for use. Some content on this site and otherwise shared by Assisted by Anna in resources, on social media or via email messages has been created with AI assistance with human editing. 

Our guidelines for use:

  • We do not use AI to impersonate real people or create false testimonials. 

  • AI-generated content is always reviewed and edited by a human before publishing. 

  • We respect copyright and do not use AI to reproduce or closely mimic others' work. 

  • We maintain transparency with our audience about our AI usage. 

  • We prioritize data privacy and do not input sensitive client information into AI tools.

How we ensure AI-generated content aligns our values:

  • Regularly update AI tools with our latest brand guidelines and values. 

  • Review AI-generated content against a checklist of our core brand principles. 

  • Include extra human oversight for content touching on sensitive or value-aligned topics.

  • Provide clear instructions to AI about our stance on important issues. 

  • Regularly train team members on how to align AI outputs with our brand values.

How we approach fact-checking and verifying AI-produced information:

  • Cross-reference AI-generated facts with reputable sources. 

  • Use subject matter experts to verify technical or industry-specific information. 

  • Maintain a list of trusted sources for quick fact-checking. 

  • Implement a review system for content containing statistics or claims. 

  • Use fact-checking tools and databases to verify historical or scientific information.
